Rachel Dolezal:”“I Was Drawing Self-Portraits With The Brown Crayon” (VIDEO)
Is she for real??! But she is giving good hair tho!!! Let’s jump into these juicy “interracial” deets shall we my Snoopas®??!
Rachel Dolezal finally broke her silence on “The Today Show” this morning with Matt Lauer. The former NAACP Chapter President used the platform to get at the people who claims she is a fraud.
In the exclusive live interview that she tells Lauer that she identifies herself as black — something she started doing at the age of five.
According to Rachel, she identified as black at an early age by using the brown crayon to draw herself with black curly hair.
Dolezal via The Today Show:
“I was drawing self-portraits with the brown crayon instead of the peach crayon, and black curly hair.
I do take exception to that because it’s a little more complex than me identifying as black or answering a question of, are you black or white?”
About the allegations from her brother that she uses blackface:
“I have a huge issue with blackface. This is not some freak “Birth of a Nation” mockery blackface performance. This is on a very real, connected level. How I’ve had to go there with the experience, not just a visible representation, but with the experience.”
What’s your 2 cents??! Are you convinced??! Watch the full interview below:
