Chris Brown’s legal luck seems to be on the up and up lately!!!
On Monday (Aug. 19), felony charges against Chris Brown were officially dropped. This makes one year after his arrest following a concert in West Palm Beach, Florida, for an outstanding felony battery charge related to an alleged attack at a nightclub in Tampa back in 2017. A courthouse rep reported that the case was dismissed by an intervention program.
Breezy was accused of allegedly hitting the club’s photographer, who was reportedly taking pictures of the singer after he was asked numerous times not to. The photographer suffered several injuries including a split lip; he later pressed charges after he went to the hospital.
But Breezy legal drama is not over yet!
Back in January, he was accused of an alleged aggravated rape of a French woman. However days after his arrest in Paris, he turned around and filed a defamation lawsuit against her.
He also declined to sit down in a formal meeting with the victim. In a statement her lawyer stated that the singer “has thumbed his nose at and shown disrespect for the French legal system” and his “failure to appear today is very unfair to my client, but I assure him that my client will not be deterred from seeking justice.”
Somehow it don’t look like Brown is backing down no time soon!
What’s your 2 cents?!
