Ashanti has to have a problem with a man who publicly pillow talks on the women he’s been with, but if it’s his truth than it his truth….
Flashback to Irv’s press run while he was doing his BET series “Tales,” where he sat down with Funkmaster Flex discussing his career stemming from the 90’s, starting with Def Jam as the A&R director and working with big names such as Jay Z, DMX, and JaRule, Murder Inc, 50 Cent, Hip-Hop, and his sexual relationship with Ashanti.
Irv explains when Ashanti first came to Murder Inc she wasn’t his first priority because he was more focused on Jay Z, DMX, and JaRule at the time. And he did make it perfectly clear that she wasn’t the reason why he and his wife divorced.
The Murder Inc mogul says he was in these streets creepin way before him and the singer hooked up, so she definitely wasn’t to blame for how his marriage ended. He took full responsibility for his actions, and says he and his ex-wife are at a better place and now best friends.
Fast forward to the 1:39 mark to hear about his relationship with Ashanti.
And this brings us to last nights episode of Growing Up Hip Hop New York where Irv wants to get the whole crew back together for a Murder, Inc. reunion, and how he might have to face more than he’s bargain for.
He talks about his plans to get the gang back on stage with his family including his ex-wife. Although he sounds excited about the idea, there’s one thing holding him back tho…the thought of having to spend a lot of time with Ashanti.
Will this reunion bite him in the ass?!
Check out the clip below:
In the episode Irv’s ex wife, Debbie Lorenzo sat down with Ja Rule’s wife, Aisha Atkins, and spoke about his infidelity with Ashanti.
