50 is going after former lawyers in the Rick Ross baby mama case for $32 million in damages! Get da strap!
50 Cent claims Rick Ross is dodging from getting served subpoenas which demands that he hand over information about Ross’ baby mama’s sex tape leak.
Word is Fif is demanding for the court to step in and force Rozay to sit for a deposition and turn over documents.
But that’s just the beginning of 50’s legal woes behind the scenes….
50 Cent is also in the middle of a major lawsuit against his former lawyers, Reed Smith LLP. He accuses them of malpractice while representing him in the lawsuit brought by Rick Ross’ baby mama, Lastonia Leviston. In case you don’t remember, she accused 50 of leaking her sex tape online.
She won and a jury ordered 50 Cent to pay Leviston $7 million in damages!
In his lawsuit, 50 claims his lawyers did a sloppy job and failed to properly defend him. According to Fif he believes they failed to get information from an internet provider who could prove he wasn’t the first one to leak it. He also says they should have deposed Rick Ross in the case too.
50 argument is if they would have completed that discovery the jury would not have sided with Leviston and award her millions. He also alleges they were the reason why he had to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Reed Smith denied all allegations and claims they did no wrongdoing in the case.
Fif believes he was not the first who leaked the sex tape. He says there’s proof that shows Rozay posted the video first then and only then did he decide to publish it too.
He also believes Rick Ross has information that will help build his case against his former lawyers. He sent five subpoenas to Ross asking for him to fork over a deposition and turn over those documents.
The motion via The Blast:
“Mr. Jackson believes that Mr. Ross may have documents and or information concerning the posting of the Video, so thus Mr. Jackson served a subpoena duces tecum on both Mr. Ross and Maybach, since Mr. Ross, as Maybach’s Principal, may have acted through Maybach or instructed a Maybach employee to post the Video.”
However Ross’ lawyer says there are no documents to turn over. 50 turned around and hired a process server to track Ross down at a concert.
The motion via The Blast:
“On October 31, 2019, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The process server in this attempt was unable to get past Mr. Ross’ security to serve him personally. “
He hasn’t serve Ross yet but he is asking the court to step in.
Somehow it doesn’t seem like Ross is in no hurry to help Fiddy no time soon!
What’s your 2 cents?!
