The Blast reported that 20th Century Fox has filed legal documents against Terrence Howard, his ex-wife Michelle Ghent, the actor’s company Universal Bridges and several law firms according to court docs.

20th Century claims they owe money to Terrence for his role on the Lee Daniels hit T.V. series, “Empire.” The docs also allege the actor is owed more than 25,000 for the services he provided on the show. 20th Century alsi says they will be owing Terrence more coins in the future.

20th Century says Terrence and Michelle went through a very nasty divorce battling over money. A Los Angeles judge ordered Terrence to pay his ex $1.3 million in back spousal support and extra due to his television success back in August. The total came out to $263,000 for back support and another $1.05 million for his increase in revenue since the divorce finalized.

In the beginning, the actor was only making $120,000 per episode but that increased to over $250,000 per “Empire” episode.
This divorce battle has been going on since 2013 and Michelle is out on collecting her $1.3 million bag.

In the new filed court docs, 20th Century claims Michelle served them with the court order stating that 100% of Terrence’s money is to be paid to them.

20th Century alleges Howard’s company threatened to sue them for breaching the contract if he isn’t paid fully. He has since filed an appeal of the divorce judgment insisting that enforcement is stayed, in other words, being put on hold until the outcome of his appeal.

The studio is unsure of how to handle the situation and doesn’t want to pay the wrong person money. They filed the suit seeking help from the court to tell them who to actually pay. 20th Century is also asking for their attorney fees to be paid in the suit.

Terrence and Michelle have been battling this out in court for years now , which also includes tax evasion allegations.
