Before her tragic death, Floyd Mayweather’s ex and baby mama, Josie Harris, was in the mist of writing a tell-all book detailing the fighter’s alleged abuse towards her.
According to The Sun, who spoke to a close friend of Harris, revealed that she was in the middle of writing a tell-all about her toxic relationship with Mayweather. It was said that Harris was all in for exposing the “savage beatings” she allegedly endured at the hands of the former boxing champ.
Harris was found dead in the front seat of her car earlier this month. The Blast also reported that Harris’ friend gave The Sun excerpts of her memoir. Harris wrote how Mayweather “almost killed” her during one fight that was in front of their three children.
The Sun says the source is coming out because:
“Josie deserves to have her voice heard, now more than ever”.
Here is a quoted excerpt of the memoir that reads:
“My eyes flew open to the sound of my own screams. Pain was searing through my skull when I looked up and saw Floyd. He was holding the back of my hair, standing over me with one hand, punching the back of my head with the other… dragging me off the sofa and pulling me across the room.”
Harris was in the middle of a $20 million-dollar lawsuit with Mayweather before her untimely death.
She alleges Mayweather defamed her by lying about his domestic violence in an interview with Katie Couric.
They were scheduled to face off in court on December 7.
Harris sued Mayweather for $20 million accusing him of lying about her in an interview with Katie Couric back in 2015. During the interview, Mayweather claimed Harris was high on drugs during the domestic violence incident in 2010. Behind the incident Mayweather was arrested and sentenced to two months in jail.
Mayweather took to Instagram posting a tribute to Harris after her death with the caption:
Harris’ cause of death is still unknown. There were no drugs or suicide note found at the scene.
Who thinks Floyd got a chance to read the excerpt?!
What’s your 2 cents?!
