There are many layers to this “Black Unicorn”, and if you’re a Tiffany Haddish fan, then you will know she is not afraid to pull them all back one by one.
Tiffany Haddish became teary-eyed as she she opened up for the first time about being sexually assaulted. Haddish, was a-teenage foster child at the time, says a police cadet raped her when she was only 17-years-old. The comedienne spoke about it openly when she sat down with “Hustling with Vivica A. Fox” podcast.
“Nobody really helped me…I had to learn revenge is not really where it’s at. Really the true revenge is in your success. Like, just let God handle it…I don’t know why I thought these police would do something to this other police officer because he took advantage of me. It wasn’t even taking advantage…just TOOK me. I’m glad he didn’t kill me or anything but that was really traumatizing and really messed me up for a long time.”
Although she says she told her social worker at the time no one helped. Her assaulter….never held accountable.
Haddish back then tried to cope with it all by making jokes about being raped, even thinking of herself as a “sexy kid”, but then realized it wasn’t healthy for her after seeing a therapist.

Makes you wonder, if you were a foster kid, if you couldn’t depend on your social worker, who could you depend on?!
